At Genesis Consulting, we advise companies, professionals and private individuals on tax, accounting, employment and legal matters. We combine our knowledge of the Canary Islands’ business environment with over 20 years’ experience in international consultancy and investment.
We support foreign companies in setting up operations in the Canary Islands, from investment planning through to incorporation, start-up and business development. We advise on the incentives offered by the Canary Islands Economic and Tax Regime (REF), including the RIC and the ZEC, tailored to the needs of each project.
Our Global Mobility division offers support to professionals, executives, digital nomads and companies with employees in Spain, coordinating the tax, employment and social security implications of their international activities.
We provide advice in Spanish, German and English, facilitating communication and coordination with our clients and their advisers in other countries.

Expert in corporate taxation and financial adviser
He is the CEO and founding partner of Genesis Consulting.
Having studied in both Germany and Spain, he has over 20 years’ experience in business consultancy and international investment.
He holds a doctorate from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where he researched the factors that determine the success of international investments.
He has advised more than 70 foreign companies on setting up operations in the Canary Islands, with success stories across various sectors.
His professional experience at PROEXCA provides him with first-hand knowledge of investors’ needs and the challenges involved in establishing and developing a business on the islands.
He specialises in corporate taxation, financial consultancy and the analysis of REF incentives, including the RIC and the ZEC.
He helps clients evaluate alternatives, structure investments and plan for the growth of their businesses.
He is a member of the AEDAF and Colegio de Economistas de Las Palmas.
Gisela Tejerina Murillo
Lawyer · Employment & Tax Department Manager
She is a member of the Las Palmas Bar Association (ICALPA) and heads the Employment and Tax Department at Genesis Consulting.
She has extensive technical expertise in national and international employment law, social security and personal taxation.
She also has notable experience in the Global Mobility department of a Big Four firm.
She advises companies, professionals and executives on relocations, the secondment of staff and international remote working. Her work covers tax residency, the application of the Beckham Law and the coordination of employment and Social Security obligations across different countries. She also supports digital nomads and offers recruitment and payroll solutions for foreign companies with employees in Spain.
At a national level, she advises on employment contracts, working conditions and labour relations, as well as on negotiation and dispute resolution.

Our accounting team is responsible for managing and reviewing the accounts, preparing the annual accounts and compiling financial reports.
It works in close collaboration with the other departments within the firm to provide a comprehensive service and ensure the ongoing monitoring of our clients’ business activities.
